From the canton of Zurich and with a classic education (Latin-Grec), Grégoire Ventura graduated from the Law Faculty of the University of Lausanne in 2002. He completed his traineeship in Freiburg, where he was admitted to the Bar in 2009.
From 2003 to 2011, Grégoire Ventura worked as clerk, first in Bern, in the Asylum Appeals Commission, then in Lausanne, at the Administrative and Public Law Court of the Tribunal Cantonal.
Since 2011, he has focused his career on litigations. He has worked as an associate from 2011 to 2013 with a law firm in Geneva. In 2014, he joined a law firm in the Lausanne area, specializing in judicial work, considerably solidifying his experience in litigation. In July 2017, he joined forces with Urs Portmann to found the law practice Portmann Ventura Avocats.

Grégoire Ventura has a solid experience and excellent knowledge not only in administrative law (construction law, foreigners law, land planning and public markets), but also in private law (matrimonial proceedings, law of obligations, intellectual property and the law of new technologies). Moreover, his judicial experience is an undeniable asset in the conduct of proceedings.
He also assures the defense in criminal proceedings and assists the private claimants.
Grégoire Ventura advises private individuals and public authorities (communities, public institutions), in French and in English.
He defends the interests of his clients in the judicial and administrative bodies throughout the French-speaking Switzerland.
